Dhaka is my journal from a roller-coaster visit in the spring of 2015, when I sought access to photograph the highly restricted National Parliament Building of Bangladesh (widely considered the architect Louis Kahn’s architectural masterpiece). The sometimes comical account’s text stitches through selections of my street photography along the way towards the intended destination. The book is printed on the occasion of my recent photographic installation Kahnscious: Photographing Architecture as a limited run of 300 copies.
